Mountain Copper Creations LLP is a family business owned by Pam and Jim Clapham, located in Missoula Montana, featuring the artistry of Jim Clapham, Jim and I grew up in Montana and both enjoy the outdoors and all that Montana has to offer. We also know if you want to play hard you have to work hard! We now have the opportunity to do both by following Jim’s artistic dream.
Jim creates beautiful rustic copper pieces, custom copper kitchen sinks , hand made copper range hoods, custom copper lighting, rustic copper kitchen counter tops and table tops, custom copper basins and copper vessels. Copper Chimney caps or pine cone finials are all Montana made custom copper artistry.
Jim has worked with metal for several years and has always enjoyed the warmth and beauty of copper. Using a technique of firing and hand hammering he coaxes out the magnificent colors and tones of the copper from the dark antique to the rich spicy brown or the spectacular forest fire burnt these colors are all created without the use of chemical patinas. Each piece is individually crafted using this method,creating an original masterpiece that cannot be duplicated in color.
Mountain Copper Creations does not use recycled copper material by using 99.9 % pure 51 ounce copper material milled to our specifications Mountain Copper Creations products are as durable as they are beautiful, providing you with years of enjoyment.
Hand hammered not stamped or pressed, all of Jim’s artwork is designed to be functional while adding rustic charm to the inside as well as outside of your home.
