This carving created by Missoula, Montana artist Roy Lynn. Jim and I have known Roy for several years and are privileged to call him our friend. He creates whimsical carvings from tree bark. The carving shown was a gift to us,and each time I walk past a tucked in house or roof top seems to pop from the village. If you are interested in any of Roy’s work contact Mountain Copper Creations and we will be happy to connect you to him.

As we celebrated July 4, take a moment to wish happy birthday to the Statue of Liberty, who celebrates her 125th birthday this year. She’s been a proud symbol of our nation’s freedom and has stood the test of time – with the help of the 31 tons (62,000 pounds) of copper. When the Statue of Liberty underwent a renovation in 1986, the copper corrosion weight was only 5%—after 100 years of battling the elements. Now that’s a testimony to copper’s sustainability over time.
Jim designed the Timber Copper Range Hood and the Mountain Rustic Farm Front copper kitchen sink, for a home in Montana’s Bitterroot Valley. Jim and I had the pleasure of working with great folks and talented artists . Mountain Copper Creations is honored to have Jim’s copper artistry included in this project.
