This zinc range hood is crafted using raw zinc which is hand hammered. The blackened steel bar is distressed by hand hammering, including the steel rivets. Which are also distressed and blackened. Notice the attention to detail with  the vertical steel bar which flows under the horizontal steel bar. Not butted  up against the bar. Allowing a completely finished look. You may notice  the corner steel brackets which also add to the rustic look. This zinc range hood was designed for our client. While looking for something that was both elegant and rustic. Branded Copper Range Hood: This copper range hood is in the design of the Mount Jumbo the forest fire burnt front panel is reverse hand hammered the body of the Branded Copper Range Hood is hand hammered and fired to a medium antique copper with copper rivets. Wise River Copper Range Hood

Wise River Copper Range Hood-This range hood is based on the design of our Ovando Copper Range 2 Hood  the same sleek design,crafted with 51 oz copper material and fired to a rich antique copper.  The Wise River Copper Range Hood is a larger hood with a deeper crown accommodating a sloped ceiling. The rivets on this hood are a bit larger due to the size of the hood. The body of the hood is hand hammered while the inlay in the base and crown are needle hammered.  The venting system we prefer for our range hoods is the vent a hood liner. This liner is great for the easy cleaning, quiet operation, and includes lighting. This and it is produced in the USA.

Copper Range Hood Mount Jumbo:

This hood was designed with me in mind! Some girls like diamonds others, like me, are thrilled to have copper art, a handcrafted copper range hood. Named after the Mountain we live on Mount Jumbo. Jim created this piece by reversing the  hammering on the front panel which is fired to a forest fire burnt. The outer sides and arched front  are crafted by hand hammering and the color is fired to an antique copper. The framing around the front panel is also antique copper with copper rivets.  Two decorative rings add the final touch. You will notice the side panels are are slightly longer and arched to the front. This is created to fit the space we had available. If you have a unusual space or need a special application in your copper hood design we build to order, so no worries Jim will create for you.

New York-er Copper Range Hood

Copper Range Hood: Working together with Elizabeth, Jim designed the New York-er. Elizabeth is a designer with the JMB Design Group in Huntington New York. So the name New York-er is perfect for this wall mount copper range hood. Measuring  78″ X 34″ this is a massive custom range hood.The hood body is hand hammered copper,that has been fired to an antique copper. The result sets the background for the dark fired copper strapping. The small needle hammered on the copper strapping is a perfect contrast to the larger hand hammering on the copper hood body. The strapping is created using  51 oz copper material that has custom beveled edges. Copper rivets fired to an antique copper color compliments the design. Copper artistry brings function and elegance to this copper piece. Hand crafted in the USA by a local Montana artist.

Miller Creek Copper Range Hood : was named after the beautiful area close to Missoula, Montana where our clients reside. Jim created the design of this copper range hood by working closely with the owners, they were looking for an update in their kitchen. Wanting to replace their brick hood with a rustic copper range hood, they also needed an upgraded  sink. So of course they went with a custom farm front copper  sink and a copper range  hood. They chose a surface mount double basin farm sink to pair with this beautiful handcrafted copper range hood built to order. Hand hammered copper bar and rivets bring out the rustic appeal to this hand crafted  copper artwork. The bottom inlay is needle hammered on all five panels. If you are looking for a classic design take away the copper bar and rivets and let the hand hammered copper speak for itself. Remodeling or under new construction functional copper artistry will add warmth an beauty to your home!

This custom copper range hood the Miller Creek was so fun to create with our clients that I just had to show the finished kitchen.  This kitchen was a remodel and the end result is amazing.  They kept the existing counter-tops and cabinets. From there they add a Mountain Copper Creations farm front double basin surface copper sink and the copper range hood, added some back splash and the kitchen was new again. This custom copper range hood the Ultima Thule  was designed for our client located in Alaska and named after their Lodge Ultima Thule. This rustic copper range hood is created using large hammer strokes on the hood body  which is fired to a burnt forest fire. Contrasting antique fired is used on the bottom of the hood,for the final touch this hood is edged in hand hammered copper bar and rivets. The trick to this handcrafted copper range hood was that it needed to get to the remote location of our clients, the Wrangell St Elias National Park is their home. Only accessible by plane.
